The Safety of you and your aircraft depends on wether or not you are safe.

Potential Quotes:

"The FAA acknowledges that the complexity of today’s aviation environment requires that safety improvements move beyond simple compliance through prescriptive rules." pg 3

"We can’t maintain planes without people. And people make mistakes..." pg 5

"While it’s true that people make mistakes, it’s equally true that people are the heroes that make your operation successful." pg 6

Assessment:

This source is extremely credible. It comes from the FAA website itself. The FAA is the Federal Aviation Administration. It is responsible for everyone flying in the US. The FAA is a government agency and it called upon the brightest and the best mechanics to quote them in this article.

Reflection:

I could use this article to help myself to get further in the pilot program as well as know what to do if something breaks or goes wrong. This shows me how out of all the articles I could use this one to help me understand and comprehend any aircraft. As well as to be able to see what the brightest and the best mechanics do.
